A concrete desk consisting of 3 main objects. Two trestles and the plateau of concrete. In the mold we putted plastic foil normally used fot lettering. I had a lot of experience with plastic. In the companies I worked I experienced that nothing realy sticks to plastics unless it's the plastic itself. By using this foil The concrete is easily released from the mold and because of the texture of the foil, the concrete feels smooth and reflects the light very well. Because of the 3 parts the table is easier to transport. The pine wood and the concrete create a more natural look together and the contrast of high tech against the raw concrete is pleasing for the eye
The table is custom made and was exposed in the Bijenkorf during the Dutch Design Week. Last year 2012.
